Bedok Jetty - 31 August
Brought the family to Bedok jetty to fish for tambans (herring) as a secondary introduction to fishing after getting their lines wet in the Sure Catch pond at Pasir Ris. The tambans were evidently present as the anglers besides us were able to land them consistently. Someone also managed to land a Spanish Mackerel (the fish found in fish soup) while we were there.
A few pointers to take home after today's session. Firstly we definitely should had reached earlier, ideally around 7am and having two rods isn't enough to go around. I should had optimize for maximum fun/fishes for everyone while wasting as little time as possible at the jetty idling because of the numerous sacrifices needed just to fish here - waking up early, the long walk from the carpark, the insufferable sun.
It's definitely more worthwhile to get a rod for everyone.
