It took some time but the spotlight is finally on protocols that are focused on buying back their tokens to capture value for token holders. This practice has been ongoing at least a decade on Wall Street with great success, as evidenced by big tech companies. Apple (APPL) and Alphabet (GOOGL) have executed more than half a trillion dollars in buybacks in the last decade and now we have a growing list of crypto protocols focusing their attention on value capture through buybacks.
